Last week, Directlink wrapped up our first-ever AMPLIFY COCC Conference at Turning Stone Casino & Resort, and it’s safe to say we’re walking away energized, inspired, and incredibly optimistic about the future of Conversational AI in community banking.
AMPLIFY was practically in our backyard, just 30 minutes from Directlink’s headquarters in Syracuse, NY. To share a bit of our hometown flavor, we brought a few dozen donuts from one of our favorite local spots, Glazed & Confused. Safe to say… they didn’t last long.
From the moment the exhibit hall opened, the interest in Directlink’s solutions was phenomenal. Whether it was our Virtual Banker’s ability to automate routine banking tasks, our AI-powered fraud prevention with Virtual KYC, or the customizable voice experience powered by Virtual Voice, one thing was clear, community banks and credit unions are ready to innovate.
In fact, many institutions shared that AI is on their strategic roadmap within the next 12 to 24 months, signaling a major shift in how regional financial institutions plan to scale service, improve efficiency, and meet evolving customer expectations.
Welcoming a New Face to the Team
AMPLIFY also marked an exciting internal milestone it was the first week for Brody Guido, our newest Sales Executive. Brody hit the ground running, engaging with attendees, fielding questions with confidence, and representing the Directlink brand like a seasoned pro. It’s not easy to join your first conference on day three, but Brody made it look effortless. We’re thrilled to have him on board.
A Common Roadblock: AI Policy Readiness
One key insight that emerged from conversations throughout the event: many institutions feel stalled in their AI journey due to the lack of a formal AI policy. This gap is real and understandable.
